A new home or an extension gives you something new to imagine. But a renovation asks you to imagine your own house differently while you’re still standing in the old version of it.
That’s why so many renovations go sideways. Decisions get made room by room instead of as one plan. Finishes get chosen late, off a screen, and your budget suffers for it. Homeowners sign off on drawings they can’t truly imagine, then find out what the space feels like once the walls are already gone.
We work the other way around. The whole home gets designed as one piece, the finishes are selected in our studio where you can pick them up and hold them, and you walk through the finished result in virtual reality while everything is still changeable. By the time your plans reach a builder, the guessing is over.
Some homes need one room fixed. Others need the whole plan rethought. Both are worth doing properly.

Sometimes no single room is the problem. The kitchen is stranded from the living area, the hallway wastes a third of the floorplan, and the best light in the house lands in a bedroom nobody uses until 9pm. We redraw the plan around how your family actually moves through the day.

Earlier than most people do. The cheapest time to change your mind is before anything is documented, and the discovery call costs you nothing.
It depends on scope. Purely internal work that leaves the structure alone often doesn’t, while structural changes, character-zone homes and anything touching the building envelope usually do. We’ll tell you where your project sits early and handle the documentation if it’s needed.
Yes, and we do regularly. Character overlays and original construction methods shape the design rather than stop it.
If the space exists and just isn’t working, renovate. If you genuinely need more floor area, you’re looking at an extension. Plenty of projects turn out to be both, and we’ll say so at concept stage rather than after you’ve paid for drawings.
Yes. Your plans are yours to build with whoever you trust. If you don’t have someone, we’ll introduce you to builders suited to your project and budget.
